The Internet - Promoter of Laziness?

Since it's birth the Internet it has been used to make your lives more efficient and convenient.  However, as the internet grew older, it's user's have grown more and more dependent on it's benefits.  No longer do you have to wait days or even weeks to recieve a letter when you can recieve the same letter instantly via email.  Why go to the library and read books for a research paper, when you can research the information on the web.  You can even shop for clothes and visit with friends via the internet.  The internet is supposed to let you do more with less, not just do less.

Question:

Do you think that the internet is making people lazy?  Why or Why not?
