Commentary:

Interactive TV combines interactive technology and television, enabling information to be exchanged between sender and receiver.

http://www.museum.tv/eotvsection.php?entrycode=interactivet  (The museum of broadcast communications).  The Simplest form of Interactive TV is the ability to use a remote control to turn on the TV, change channels or to use a DVR.  Another form of Interactive TV is interactivity with program content, in which the user can actually influence the program content.  Interactivity with TV related content is yet another form of Interactive TV, an example of this form would be QVC and HSN.
